Thomas Pritzker

As the chairman and CEO, Thomas Pritzker (pictured above with Mortimer Zuckerman) is the only member of the Pritzker family that's still actively involved with the family’s legacy, Hyatt Hotels. To date, he owns about 14% of the chain. He is also currently serving as CEO of the Pritzker Organization, the Pritzker’s historical merchant Bank. In 2011, he founded North America Western Asia Holdings, an investment firm with two primary businesses based in Iraq.

Outside of his family affairs, he sits on the Board of Directors for UCLA and serves as Chairman of the Board of the Art Institute of Chicago. Thomas has been named an honorary professor at Sichuan University following many visits and extensive hiking in the area and has directed multiple archaeological expeditions in the Western Himalayas.
