Larry is perhaps most known, however, for his 99-year, $3.25B lease on the 10.6M SF World Trade Center in 2001, only months before the iconic buildings were destroyed in the 9/11 attacks. Since then, Larry has started a $20B, multi-property mega-project to rebuild the WTC, which he expects to consume the rest of his working days. He’s also developing a Four Seasons hotel and private residences in Lower Manhattan. At 82-stories, the Robert A.M. Stern-designed residential tower will be one of the tallest in New York.
