CyrusOne's New Facility And Internet Exchange

CyrusOneis delivering a new building at its Houston West location this month. (Above, its national director of accountsCaroline Brelsfordspeaking at a Bisnowevent.)Its the fourth data center the firm built with its modularfacility design, which takes seven months from groundbreaking to commissioning. (A typical enterprise data center takes two to three years.)CyrusOne is also building in Texas the first statewide Internet exchange in the US, which will connect all its major facilities in Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio when it launches this month, providing infrastructure to support all different cloud offerings.
