McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Vancouver Airport is on pace for a total footfall of 5 million visitors by year’s end, a company record for centres open under two years. The designer outlet, the first in North America for UK-based McArthurGlen, opened in July 2015. It won NAIOP’s Award of Excellence for Retail Development earlier this year. The outlet’s 240k SF roster boasts 55 brands, including Armani, Coach, Ted Baker and Hugo Boss. Michael Kors, Asics and UGG will open before Christmas, along with two restaurants. A second phase will add 135k SF, further incentive for Vancouver outlet mall shoppers to stay north of the border.
