Guildford Town Centre No Stranger to Television Drama

Pretty shocking that video inadvertently released by Surrey RCMP last week showing a motorcycling madman rolling through Guildford Town Centre, nearly hitting several unsuspecting bystanders. The jaw-dropping footage of the incident from Feb. 20—which police said was mistakenly leaked—shows the rider evading cops by taking his hog down an escalator and into the crowded mall, with a security guard in hot pursuit and onlookers looking bewildered.

Subsequent police footage shows the rider exiting the mall and fleeing the scene with pedestrians barely managing to leap out of harm’s way. An odd day at Guildford Town Centre, but it turns out this isn't the only drama that's been caught on camera there. The mall served as a backdrop on the short-lived ABC police drama The Evidence, starring Rob Estes and Orlando Jones. The show was cancelled after eight episodes, but the Surrey motorcycle bandit—apparently still on the loose—rides on.
