Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan has acquired Ivanhoé Cambridge’s remaining 50% interest in two Ontario shopping centres—Quinte Mall in Belleville and Devonshire Mall in Windsor—for $240M. Ivanhoé's global investments EVP Arthur Lloyd notes the deal “completes the repositioning of our retail portfolio in Canada” and the firm is now focused on expanding its Canadian retail platform “through organic growth in key properties across the country,” as well as via Ivanhoé's new Outlet Collection and Mills development projects across the country.
