San Diego is a hot market for retail acquisitions, according to hometown investor Pathfinder Partners, which just closed on an opportunistic play locally: the 40k SF Breeze Hill Promenade in Vista. Tenants include Food 4 Less, Petco, LA Fitness, Ralphs and Starbucks. Pathfinder senior managing director Mitch Siegler explains that the attraction wasn't just location in a growing part of the region, but the value-add aspects of the property. Cushman & Wakefield's Pete Bethea and Rob Ippolito repped the seller in the deal.
