Longtime owners of Santee land under a former Hanley's Steak House and Buy-Lo store are finally set to redevelop it for an omelette. The Cameron Brothers are breaking ground on a project called Santee Station, a four-building, 17k SF retail project at 8866 N Magnolia Ave. “The time is right to finally redevelop this site,” says The Heritage Group's Kyle Clark (here with his wife riding elephants in Thailand, because why not?). “With new housing and transportation options, more people are moving to Santee, especially families.” Heritage was tapped by Cameron Bros to lease and develop the project, and has already inked a 15-year deal with The Omelette Factory for 4k SF.
