New 568-Room Pechanga Resort & Casino To Begin Booking Hotel Guests

Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula will begin booking guests on Aug. 28 at its new 568-room hotel, which is part of a $285M expansion program that will bring the resort’s accommodations to 1,090 rooms when completed, making it the largest casino resort in California. The 14-story hotel includes 96 suites and 472 luxury hotel rooms, new restaurants, a two-story luxury spa, 65K SF of meeting and event space, and a 4.5-acre pool complex scheduled to open in April.

Other San Diego County casinos also are expanding. The Pala Casino Spa & Resort plans a $170M expansion that includes a new 349-room hotel tower, bringing its room total to 854. The Sycuan Casino is building a hotel with 300 rooms and suites as part of a full-scale $226M expansion project. In addition, the Viejas Casino & Resort is nearing completion on an all-suites hotel wing with 158 rooms, which is expected to open the end of this month, bringing the resort's hotel accommodations to a total of 391 rooms.
