Shopping Center Group Strengthens Charlotte Property Management Team

As we previously reported, retail's expanding in Charlotte, and retail specialists here are following suit. As part of its growth, the local office of The Shopping Center Group recently added Patrizia Gardzielik, formerly of Kimco Realty, to its property management team, where she will be responsible for day-to-day management of a number of shopping centers in the Carolinas.

"Keeping a retail environment competitive for both tenants and shoppers is really all about the tenant mix," Patrizia tells us. "Having the right tenant mix plays such a key role in driving more foot traffic and overall interest in the center. Complementary tenants create a synergy that keeps the center competitive for the long term."
