Northlake Mall To See 200k SF Expansion

Starwood Retail Partners acquired an 11-acre parcel next to its Northlake Mall (pictured) for $6M, and is planning a $50M expansion. The new development will include more than 200k SF of retail, dining and entertainment. Design plans for the expansion will be completed later this year, the Charlotte Business Journal reports, and it will be connected to the mall's main entrance. Construction will start next year.
