Bruce Nordstrom led the department store chain that bears his family name for 40-plus years. Under his leadership, the company grew from $40M in sales to nearly $9B. He played a decisive role in expanding the retailer to the scale it enjoys today: more than 120 full-line stores, over 200 Nordstrom Rack locations and a thriving online retailing business. His son Blake now leads the company. Bruce maintains 15% ownership.
