Edward Roski Jr.’s Majestic Realty Co. has an 83M SF portfolio composed mostly of industrial, office and retail space. Roski has a 50% stake in both the NHL’s LA Kings and the NBA’s LA Lakers. He also developed the arena that hosts both teams, the Staples Center.
Majestic was part of an initial joint venture to develop a stadium to help lure an NFL team to Las Vegas, but removed itself from the arrangement in late 2016. Then, in March, the league announced the Oakland Raiders would officially be moving to Las Vegas. Since then, Roski’s name has been floated as a possible developer. His daughter, Reon Roski, is Majestic’s managing director and a company board member. — Scott Klocksin
