Get me some bluebonnets and pecan pie (or peeee-can paai). Just a few weeks ago it was London, England. Now it’s Austin, Texas. Avison Young soldiers on with their international expansion, with the acquisition of  commercial real estate services firm Commercial Texas—AY’s third office in the Lonestar State and 42nd outside this country. Commercial Texas handled more than $67M in lease and sales transactions in 2013, and has 11 employees. (We're starting to wonder... are you expanding so much because you don't want yo hang out with us?) AY CEO Mark Rose tells us the company has ID'd the Austin area as one of the core regions they are focusing on in the US in terms of growth, hence the push to finalize this latest deal.
