Spectrum SQ Update

Goudy Real Estate Corp's Cory Rosen gave us the latest from The Eatery at Spectrum SQ, HOOPP's corporate community currently under construction in Mississauga. Starbucks nailed down an end-cap position in the 60k SF property, taking 1,680 SF with a patio. Veloce Italian Kitchen is taking 3,200 SF in the same building, while a Subway franchise is also on board. Cory says under negotiation are an “exciting” burger operator (doesn't that describe all of them?), a pub, a gourmet sandwich and salad concept, and a large sit-down family restaurant. The Eatery will open this summer; following in Q1 '15 will be Phase 1 of the 1.3M SF office complex, which'll total 134k SF. JLL's handling leasing.
