Avison Young Takes Toronto

Avison Young consulting and advisory services SVP Rodney McDonald reports that the global real estate services firm (the world’s fastest growing) now has 58 offices in 47 markets. Because the company has no silos, there's full cooperation across all service lines, which include investment sales, asset and project management, leasing, appraisal, and more. It's also intensely client-centric. Current, local projects include the leasing mandate for 1M SF of office space for Allied's new Front Street office tower and the mandate to offer 460 King West for sale. Its Capital Markets Group has also listed the iconic Eastern Avenue Weston Bakery site for sale. A 25-member company-wide Sustainability Affinity Group is working closely with non-profit The Natural Step to create an Avison Young Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Strategy.
