Poutine Comes to Town

The Phoenix area's first poutinerie has opened at 414 S Mill Ave in Tempe. That is, fans of the Canadian dish poutine, which in its basic form consists of French fries, cheese curds and brown gravy, will be able to get it at US Fries. The restaurant is serving what it calls "American poutine," which includes toppings like pulled pork and roast beef or chili and cheese, the Phoenix Business Journal reports. So far the only other US Fries location is in Tucson. [PBJ]
