Pedal Haus Brewery To Revamp, Increase Brewing Capacity

Downtown Tempe’s Pedal Haus Brewery is closed until the beginning of October for renovation. The dining area will be rearranged, patio area revamped and brewing capacity quadrupled. This comes as no surprise following the brewery’s smashing success since opening last September.

“We are happy to be contributing to the growth of the local craft beer scene and want to continue to cultivate the community with more tasty beer options that will be increasingly available in other establishments,” Pedal Haus Brewery owner and founder Julian Wright says. “With the revitalized look, feel and menu, we will be able to serve a broader clientele and expand our brand throughout the Valley.”

Pedal Haus Brewery’s outdoor patio will include a full-functioning bar and yard games such as ping-pong and cornhole. Bungalows with fire pits will be available to parties of 10 to 20 people. Indoors, Pedal Haus is cutting into its general dining room to make room for more private dining areas suitable for up to 40 people.

Previously, Pedal Haus Brewery was able to brew 417 gallons of craft beer per week, a figure that will quadruple to 1,667 gallons per week once renovations are complete. The brewery has sought the help of Derek “Doc” Osborne, holder of four 2016 North American Beer Awards, in the redesign of its brewing equipment.
