First Watch Restaurants Inc acquired The Egg & I Restaurants for an unspecified price. The Egg & I, a Colorado company, currently has 114 locations, including in Scottsdale and Gilbert. Florida-based First Watch is no stranger to the Phoenix breakfast-restaurant market, having acquired 20 Arizona Good Egg restaurants last year, the Phoenix Business Journal reports. All together, First Watch now has 267 restaurants in 26 states, with 18 more locations under development this year. [PBJ]
