More tech is coming to Tempe: Palo Alto-based Houzz, a home remodeling and design platform, will open a sales and client services office in Hayden Ferry Lakeside I. The company didn't specify how much space it will eventually take, but within two years, 150 employees will work at the office, the Phoenix Business Journal reports.

"The Phoenix Metro area has a very talented labor pool with people moving here from all over the country,” Houzz VP of sales Jerry Kingkade said. “We are very pleased with the talent we have hired thus far."

The expansion to Arizona will help the company meet the demand for its Pro+ premium local marketing program for home professionals, the company said. The program helps subscribed home professionals, including landscape contractors, architects and designers, to build their brands locally. In 2015, Houzz drove $3.2B in gross revenue to pros on the platform. [PBJ]
