Good Times Swallows Bad Daddy's

Golden-based Good Times Restaurants Inc is acquiring the NC-based chain Bad Daddy’s International for $21M. The deal means that Bad Daddy's, which was founded in 2007, will become a subsidiary of Good Times. Previously, the company acquired a 48% stake in the big burger specialty restaurant, including the rights to develop Bad Daddy's-branded restaurants in Colorado, Oklahoma and Kansas, according to the Denver Business Journal. There are currently 13 Bad Daddy’s restaurants in six markets, and five more will open this year. [DBJ]
