Six additional restaurants and retailers have signed on to Dairy Block, a new micro-district in the heart of Lower Downtown.

Developed by McWhinney, Sage Hospitality and Grand American Inc., Dairy Block is among the latest destinations that offer drinking, dining and shopping on an entire block connected by Denver’s first pedestrian alleyway, which runs from 18th to 19th streets between Blake and Wazee streets.

The new Dairy Block tenants include:

• Run for the Roses, an intimate cocktail bar.

• Free Market, a retail shop.

• Berkeley Supply, a retail shop.

• Foraged, a restaurant.

• Eagle Company, a boutique.

• Will Leather Goods, a retail shop.

CTRL Collective, a shared workspace, is now open in the Dairy Block office tower. The 43K SF space has communal workspaces and private offices starting at $79 a month. It has seven conference rooms, a printing center and a game room.

Dairy Block already is home to Sage Restaurant Group’s Kachina Cantina and Poka Lola Social Club. Patrons of these establishments can take their cocktails and beers into the Dairy Block Alley. Huckleberry Roasters and The Perfect Petal opened at Dairy Block in February.

In early June, Denver chef Frank Bonanno will open Milk Market, which will have 15 restaurant and bar concepts. Bonanno also will open Engine Room Pizza, which will serve pizza by the slice facing the alley.

Dairy Block also will be home to Seven Grand, a whiskey bar and retail space.

Dairy Block is anchored by The Maven, an independent 172-room industrial chic hotel managed by Sage Hospitality. Office tenants at Dairy Block include McWhinney, industrial real estate firm Prologis, the national headquarters for Italian fast-casual chain Romano’s Macaroni Grill, the downtown Denver office of Equus Software and Cuvee, a luxury lifestyle and travel company.
