We spoke yesterday with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s Thomas Wootten, who was just named an executive managing director of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank global corporate services in Denver. Thomas specializes in corporate real estate representation and helps Fortune 500 clients such as Waste Management and Liberty Global. He’s seeing encouraging signs within corporate America. “They seem to be more in a mode right now to make investmentsback into their business,” he says. Many companies are still trimming the corporate fat (it's better for their corporate cholesterol), but the focus instead is on “streamlining business” versus sheer cost cutting. “We have a number of business clients right now who are growing at significant clips.”
