Construction Is Underway For The Refinery, A Mixed-Use Space With 107K Sf Of Office, Retail And Self-Storage.

ABP Capital announced its $22.8M construction loan for The Refinery, a 107K SF mixed-use property with four stories of office space above ground-floor retail and self-storage.

The property at 1213 West Morehead St. in FreeMoreWest promotes clear views of Uptown and visibility from Interstate 77, along with nearby commuter trails for cyclists.

“We continue to grow our presence in the construction lending market by tackling projects that are fundamentally sound yet represent challenges that more conventional lenders shy away from,” ABP Capital founder and managing member Michael Persall said.

Insite Properties is developing the project and BB+M Architecture is handling design. Construction is underway.

The FreeMoreWest area, west of Uptown and marked by the streets Freedom Drive and West Morehead Street, is developing rapidly, notably with new apartments.

ABP Capital is a private financing and investment firm based in Encinitas, California.
