TLC FROM TQL IN THE QC

Freight brokerage firm Total Quality Logistics recently opened a Charlotte satellite sales office, which could employ as many as 75 by next year. Cincinnati-based TQL leased space on Rexford Road in Charlotte's SouthPark as part of a larger corporate expansion. In the past two years alone, additional sales offices have been opened in Charleston, Chicago, Tampa, and Denver, among others. The company each year moves more than 400,000 shipments for over 7,000 clients nationwide. A well-educated and professional local talent pool helped TQL decide on Charlotte, exec Kerry Byrne tells us. Mark Herpel of CBRE in Charlotte brokered the lease. Terms weren't disclosed. At least TQL can't tell us they were lost by the delivery company.
