MAN OF HIS WORD

Back in February, Cassidy Turley's Mike Kemmet promised he?d tell us about some new leases pending for Midtown Centre, and he's indeed a man of his word. Kemmet, with colleagues David Dorsch and Joe Franco, recently signed about 20k SF in new deals for the 63k SF building.
 

Undergoing a $2M makeover, the former Midtown Plaza was only about a third occupied the last time Mike spoke to us. Since then, the CT team has inked deals with: TH Management (a professional associations manager), Metrolina Nephrology Associates, law firm Bradford Hayes, Duvall/Cams Management (an HOA manager), and law firm Kirk Palmer Thigpen. ?There are  some deals  out there,? Mike tells us. ?I wouldn?t call it dramatic, but if a landlord knows where his property is positioned, he can take advantage of the people moving around.?
