GOING GREEN ON THE LYNX

Construction has begun on The Fountains at New Bern Station, a $26.2M, 208-unit luxury apartment development at the New Bern Light Rail Station in Charlotte. Proffitt Dixon Partners is developing the project on about five acres along the Charlotte Area Transit System?s  LYNX Blue Line in Historic South End. ?The light rail line is a great location for new luxury apartments,? Proffitt Dixon?s Stuart Proffitt says. The project is being designed to meet Green Certification requirements set by the National Association of Home Builders.
