Nordstrom Rack To Open In Canton Crossing

Designer duds at a discount are coming to The Shops at Canton Crossing.

Baltimore's first Nordstrom Rack will open fall 2018 at the Canton shopping center, with construction starting in November, according to a release. The 32k SF store will join a 90k SF addition in the second phase of construction at the outdoor mall, whose shops and restaurants include Harris Teeter, Target, Old Navy, Mission BBQ and Iron Rooster.

The three-year-old shopping center is led by BCP Investors, whose partners include developer Mark Sapperstein, Workshop Development and Birchwood Capital Partners. The Seattle retailer operates three other Rack stores in Gaithersburg, Columbia and Towson.

It is the latest development in a waterfront neighborhood that has witnessed a number of new residences and restaurants.
