An ambitious plan to construct studios and production facilities for artists, designers and entrepreneurs is one step closer to reality. The Baltimore Arts Realty Corp broke ground Tuesday on the $11M project, called OpenWorks, opening fall 2016 in the Station North Arts and Entertainment District. Located at 1400 Greenmount Ave, the 34k SF space will include a 3D printing studio, metal shop, digital media studio and other workspaces. OpenWorks will offer memberships and month-to-month leases.
