Kemper Development Co. CEO Kemper Freeman is part of the third generation of his family to reside in Bellevue, Washington, near Seattle. His father and grandfather were part of the push to develop the lakeside city and advocated for the Evergreen Point Floating Bridge that links Seattle with Bellevue and helped make the city’s explosive growth since the 1960s possible. His father, Frederick Kemper Freeman, was a major developer of the area, and helped build Bellevue’s first hospital in the 1940s.
