Naomi Azrieli chairs CanPro Investments, the Montreal-based development firm that is a piece of the legacy of her father, family patriarch David Azrieli, who died in 2014. He built his family empire after fleeing Poland during Hitler’s rise.
Naomi's sister Danna Azrieli chairs the Tel Aviv-based Azrieli Group, whose portfolio includes 15 shopping malls in Israel. When the firm went public in 2010, its IPO was the largest in the country’s history.
David started the Azrieli Foundation, which does Holocaust education and works to preserve and promote Jewish culture. — Scott Klocksin
