The hundreds of Nestlé employees moving into 1812 North Moore in Rosslyn will be able to enjoy a revamped Rosslyn Metro Center next door.

American Real Estate Partners is starting on a major renovation of the building's retail space this year, the Washington Business Journal reports. AREP acquired the property, a 22-story office and retail building, for $180M in 2015 from Clover Management Corp.

The renovation will create a new, two-level building with a glass-enclosed walkway to the existing retail building and remove part of the structure covering the plaza, creating street-level access to the second-floor outdoor area. It will also rebrand it as Rosslyn City Center.

CBRE is marketing the space and is looking for a 9k SF restaurant tenant and a large fitness tenant as anchors. The center is home to a Panera, Rite-Aid, Rosslyn Barber Shop and Mimi's Cards & Gifts. It remains unclear which tenants will stay in the building after the renovation.

With The JBG Cos.' Central Place across the street signing fast-casual chains, Nestlé and CEB employees will now have even more lunch options.
