The company, which bought the property for more than $10M last year after managing it for five, is poised to renovate the 560k SF property once Sears closes its doors there. After obtaining nearly $30M in bond financing from the city, Allen says they were able to capture leases with Regal Theaters, Sams Club, and Whole Foods. With some 2M SF already owned in Denver, Allen (left, with CEO Sandy Sigal) says the company is bullish on Denver metro because of the young, educated workforce with money to spend.
