Single-family rental is an emerging asset class in the UK, driven by a housing shortage and changing consumer expectations. At the same time, “strong fundamentals and resilience during adverse market conditions have sparked growing interest” in the build-to-rent sector, according to a recent study.
“There’s a chronic undersupply of residential across the UK and we’ve only scratched the surface of the depth of the rental market so far,” Casa by Moda Head of Acquisitions Rob Gill told Bisnow in January. “We see it as a growth sector for the next decade.”
