Little Campbell River Wins Big at Commercial Building Awards

It was a big night for little Campbell River at the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board Commercial Building Awards, with a pair of local projects receiving honours. Berwick by the Sea—a six-floor, 132-suite wood frame senior  residence featuring an oceanfront dining room, rooftop lounge and lawn bowling pitch (above)—earned the Award of Excellence in the multifamily category. The Broad Street Properties and Seymour Pacific Developments office building in downtown Campbell River, which received the Judge’s Choice award for best overall entry, as well as the Excellence Award in the Office category, was lauded as an “inspiring model for future downtown development.”
