Yorkdale’s 30-Store Expansion Set For October Opening

Yorkdale Shopping Centre, Canada’s best-performing mall, announced its new wing, a 112k SF corridor with 30 stores, will open Oct. 18. Retailers here include UNIQLO, Mackage, ARC'TERYX, Nadège, Wolford, Reiss, Strellson, Spareparts, Muji, Samsung and NYX. Three days later comes the launch of a 188k SF Nordstrom, part of a $331M expansion that will add 300k SF of retail at Yorkdale, bringing the mall to 2M SF. Restoration Hardware plans to open a 69k SF multi-level store at Yorkdale, its largest Canadian location to date.
