Holt Renfrew Is Shuttering Its Sherway Gardens Location

Holt Renfrew plans to close its CF Sherway Gardens store this year and shift staff to its new 130k SF location at Square One Shopping Centre, opening this summer. The move is part of the luxury retailer’s strategy to focus on flagship markets and larger stores. Square One's two-storey Holts is nearly four times the size of the Sherway location. There’s better news ahead for Sherway on the luxury retail front: Saks Fifth Avenue opens its second GTA store there Feb. 25 (the first launches a week earlier at CF Toronto Eaton Centre). And Nordstrom comes to Sherway next fall.
