BC's Biggest Retail Event Of 2016: Tsawwassen Mills Opens

Tsawwassen Mills, Metro Vancouver’s newest shopping centre and the largest built in Canada since 2009 (1.4M SF), officially opened its doors yesterday. A $600M investment by Ivanhoé Cambridge, the fully enclosed centre has a roster of 180 brands, including first-to-market retailers like Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, DSW–Designer Shoe Warehouse, and Saks OFF 5TH. The centre is divided into five distinct shopping neighbourhoods—Fashion, Nature, City, Coast Salish and Outdoor Life—and has an 1,100-seat food hall, four sit-down restaurants, a children's play area and a sports dome.
