True North Commercial REIT Acquires Mississauga Office Buildings

True North Commercial REIT continues its GTA expansion with the acquisition of 6865 Century Ave, a two-storey, 64k SF office building on 2.66 acres in Mississauga (above), for $13.4M. The REIT also is nearing a deal to acquire a second Mississauga office property, a 40k SF building that’s 100% occupied. The 6865 Century property has been well-maintained, the trust says, with upgrades to the façade, windows, paving, elevator, washrooms and HVAC systems. CEO Daniel Drimmer notes the two acquisitions increase the GTA presence for his firm, which boasts a 1.4M SF commercial real estate portfolio.
