Tech Summit Debate: Working from Home

One interesting question came up at last weeks Bisnow Tech Summit at the Shangri-La Hotel during a discussion aboutYahoo CEO Marissa Mayers decision to ban employees from working from home. We love her, said Oxford Properties VP of leasing John Peets. (Cue the laughter around the room.) The topic lead to some lively debate, since the event was a discussion about the office of the future.Its a big discussion point now, said Perkins+Will's Jillian Warren. I think it points to a bigger trend: the need to embrace the type of independent worker that has come back to the office, and the need to provide these workers variety when it comes to workplace environments.
