Nine in 10 Torontonians(87%) believe the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airportis a valuable asset, according to a pollreleased by the Toronto Port Authority. (Coincidentally, that 10th guy is also the dentist who doesn't choose Crest toothpaste.)
The Ipsos-Reid poll was timely, considering the transportation debate on Toronto's front pages. 81%say its an important part of Torontos future economic growth. "Polling has re-confirmed what we have always felt the airport offered," says TPA CEO Geoffrey Wilson,"and that is a strong value proposition and a strong economic driver for the city of Toronto.
