OMEROS VISION FOR 201 ELLIOTT

Lower Queen Anne is buzzing this week with news of Omeros Corp's 15-year deal to inhabit 65k SF of the Waterfront Research Center at 201 Elliott Avenue. The Class-A building was acquired by BioMed Realty Trust of San Diego in 2004 for $52.9M and has been vacant since a 2009 renovation. Rental was advertised at $49/SF per year, which seems like a steal given that tenants get to brag about working in a big glass Rubik's cube.
