"A layer of government restrictions and government processes to get through," he tells us, adding that there are only a few brokers on the national scale with the right temperment to do affordable housing. Robert, a broker since 1990, got into affordable housing by accident when he did a HUD deal in 1998. One thing led to another, and before he knew it, owners were calling and asking him to sell their HUD properties. |
