Yesterday was a first for Bisnow. While we were having our great Breakfast & Schmooze on the distressed market in NYC yesterday, we held two concurrent events in Northern Virginia’s Crystal City(above) and Atlanta, both attracting 400 attendees each. Vornado/Charles E. Smith president Mitchell Schear described the opportunity lying ahead for Crystal City, including the possibility of C buildings turning into“Super A's,” creating a high-quality location of choice instead of just a value alternative to the CBD—start re-imagining Crystal City as a Canary Wharf (see coverage here). Atlanta’s event focused on the Midtown submarket, which you can read all about today.
