Upscale Restaurants Headed To Irvine Co's Santa Clara Square

Italian restaurant Il Fornaio is coming to the retail portion of Irvine Co's mixed-use Santa Clara Square.

The upscale restaurant chain and Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar will join the center, which already has signed Whole Foods as a tenant, sources tell the Silicon Valley Business Journal. A Specialty's Cafe & Bakery also will join the 125k SF center now under construction.

Santa Clara Square will have 1.8M SF of office, which is being built in phases, and about 1,800 apartment units approved but not yet under construction. [SVBJ]
