El Camino Hospital Buys South San Jose Site For $23.4M

El Camino Hospital purchased 16 acres in South San Jose for $23.4M; it could build a new hospital there.

The undeveloped property on Santa Teresa Boulevard (between San Ignacio Avenue and Great Oaks Boulevard) was part of a 34-acre parcel that Equinix purchased almost a year ago for $38.3M. Equinix, which runs data centers, plans to keep the rest of the property, according to the Silicon Valley Business Journal.
