Costco To Supersize Market Street Store?

The San Diego Planning Commission is slated this Thursday to decide whether to allow Costco to supersize its Market Street warehouse (kinda like its toilet paper). The discount retailer submitted plans to the commission to up the size of its warehouse from 95,200 SF to 135,200 SF at 650 Gateway Center Dr, just off Market Street, according to city docs. Planning officials recommended passage of the proposal, so San Diegans have an even larger place to go for a bunch of free samples on a Saturday afternoon.
