Hotel Managers Group VP Randy Hulce, snapped at Bisnow's SoCal Hospitality Summit in LA last December, has shared some good news with us: Hotel demand is picking up—the company's properties are performing ahead of last year. In addition, the San Diego-based company learned it will receive a Choice Hotels' Platinum Award for its Comfort Inn Suites in Tooele, Utah. HMG has management contracts for some half a dozen hotels in the pipeline, and is prepping to grow the company with investments.
