Cassidy Turley Dials 50K for Charity

Cassidy Turley San Diego raised 50k in 20 minutes--not the commission on the shortest lease term in history, but a Dial for Dollars fundraiser. Some 140 Cassidy Turley pros took part, separated into eight competing teams (because brokers can't resist a competition). The participants made phone calls to clients, colleagues, friends, and family members to ante the most bucks. The winning team, whichraised nearly $12k, included (back row) Bob Kuzman, Chris Hobson, Tim Winslow, Paul Klink, and Sean McNee; (middle row) Renee Garcia, Tori Massie, Sophie von Henkle, Bruce Schiff, Steven Field, and Chad Iafrate; and (front row) Michelle Matisse, Thomas Melendez, Brittney Waterman, and Glenn Arnold.

The event benefited the Semper Fi Fund and the US Marine Corps' Wounded Warriors Battalion West at Camp Pendleton, whose reps are above. According to Cassidy Turley San Diego CEO Dan Broderick, the teams tripled their goal of raising $16k. Why go gung-ho? The fundraiser kicked off the 2013 event series for the firm's charity outreach committee.
