NYCREW celebrated Women’s History Month last Thursday at Ted Moudis Associates’ Madison Ave office by watching A Girl is a Fellow Here, written and directed by Beverly Willis, president of the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation. The documentary focused on six of the over 100 women who worked with Wright. | JPMorgan’s Jennifer Stewart and Beverly (joined by Beverley Willis Foundation’s Wanda Bubriski) also spoke on a panel with Liz Muskat and Ted Moudis’ Monica Larsen Wetherell. Beverly began her career as a multimedia artist, and through this began her 50-year career in architecture and design. Liz and Jennifer both began as architects, but were led respectively into real estate/construction and the financial side. But each said that her training in architecture developed skills that have proven to be invaluable to their careers. |
